​State of Bliss is manifested by a group of engaging individuals from across the globe who collaborate to co-create beautiful spaces and immersive experiences that foster opportunities for reflection, connection, and exploration, as our gift to the Burnerverse.

Our efforts are directed towards joyful, transformational, sometimes silly, but always meaningful, activities and interactions that help connect people to their inner pathways to bliss. In some ways through creating comfortable spaces, and in others, inviting people to step out of their comfort zones.

We’ve been putting together camps for Afrikaburn for eight years, investing in infrastructure, learning skills, and developing ever more radical ways to achieve our mission.
 

We dedicate huge amount of time, energy, and resources to collectively establishing a foundation that sees to our basic needs out in the desert. On this foundation we then collectively dream, scheme, and co-create spaces and experiences for the entire Tankwa Town community.

 

We do so in the spirit of Play!
 

We attract like-minded, participation-oriented people who view participation not from the perspective of only doing one's share of camp chores and being part of set-up and break-down etc, but who desire to actively engage their creative muscles, participating in collectively dreaming, scheming and bringing into being the full breadth and depth of our offering. What can you create? Anything you can imagine! State of Bliss is a place to dream! 

We are particularly seeking groups of experienced Burners who wish to get involved in deeper processes at play.
 

We want individuals who are not afraid to get their hands dirty, because creating and sharing the level of comfort we aspire to comes with a lot of hard, dust-coated work.​
